Why it's called Papa Buys Properties.

I named the company Papa Buys Properties because "Papa" is what my grandkids call me. At the moment we have 10 beautiful grandchildren, and we're praying for even more!

I started working in real estate in 1983. Back then I was a leasing agent at a full-service apartment rental company. We drove people to three or four apartments, or until we found one that met their needs. I learned to listen closely to what mattered to each client, and that skill has served me well to this day.

I have always enjoyed meeting people and helping them with their "situations," because I am a problem solver at heart. Over the decades I have seen just about everything. Nothing brings me greater joy than seeing a burden lifted from someone right before my eyes.

I am not a developer. I don't tear down houses and build new ones. I like to improve the neighborhood by making a home sparkle inside and out, and I take real pride in restoring a house to near mint condition.

When I was young I heard Bob Proctor say, "You should always love people and use money rather than the other way around." It has stuck with me all these years. We promise you'll be treated with respect in every interaction. And if someone else can help you better than we can, we will tell you and point you to them. We love people, not money.
